I never expected to write this. This year, @thequ I never expected to write this. This year, @thequirkypineapplestudio quietly celebrated 7 years of full-time business. 7 years running a location-independent marketing agency. 7 years building brand awareness in English and Spanish, worldwide. 7 years working with small businesses, founders, thought leaders, and more to leverage their stories and connect with their audience through copy and content. And while I never expected to write this post, truthfully it has been “in the making” for almost 2 years. Newsletter subscribers heard about it yesterday and now we’re publicly sharing it here - we’re taking a break 👋🏽 It’s bittersweet to say goodbye to a business I built from the ground up to support my current lifestyle. It’s sad to say goodbye to a business that gave me so much and has supported so many people… I am excited to step away from The Quirky Pineapple Studio for some time so that I can re-evaluate our direction and business model and then make a more aligned and purposeful decision with intention. 👀 So what does that mean for me (Cassandra) and TQPS? Give me some time to restrategize and reconsider the direction of the business, as well as some time for TQPS to adapt to those changes. This isn’t a total goodbye, just a pause for a while so we can do greater things in the future 💖 💻 I wrote an honest post on the blog distilling the 5 reasons for this break, how I want to reimagine business, and ways to stay in touch while we’re away.
