Retreat Planning & Hosting
We joined forces with another content queen, Andrea Valeria of It’s a Travel O.D. to host a retreat in Cartagena, Colombia! We partnered with a local travel agency in Colombia, Scarlet Macaw Trips, to plan the on the ground logistics, while Andrea and I focused on a week of workshops, mastermind sessions, hot seats, and activities for 8 womxn.
It was one week focused entirely on content marketing, business development, planning out our ideas and HITTING PUBLISH on them to make them happen!
“The Hit Publish retreat was a great way to explore a new place, meet like-minded women and flex my entrepreneurial skills all in one place! The perfect mix of work and play.” Rebecca Rosenburg, Copywriter & Content Strategist
“Hit Publish retreat was everything I was expecting and more! The organizers are amazing women and leaders who were able to transfer and share all their tips, experience, know-hows, recommendations, and insight about the digital nomad world. They took care of everything and made us feel at “home” and empowered!” Irene Gonzalez, Translator, Interpreter, and Virtual Assistant
“Hit Publish was an amazing retreat! It was so great getting to connect with other entrepreneurs from different backgrounds with different businesses and get feedback from their perspectives. I came back with so many new ideas for my business and already edited a lot of the copy on my website from the feedback I got while I was there! We worked hard, but we also played hard and had a great time exploring Cartagena and islands nearby. The group formed strong bonds, and I’m excited to see what collaborations come from these new relationships!” Julia Bocchese, SEO Consutlant & Pinterest Manager
Our Goal for Hit Publish Retreat
We know just how powerful social media is. Online connections, sharing resources, tips, and information – what we didn’t expect was how powerful taking those online connections offline would be. The retreat was a very big affirmation for us that this was a powerful way to bring our community together while also working on business.
On professional level, we shared strategies, tips, and advice for our group to create content consistently, without burning out or running out of ideas. We also brainstormed as a group new business ideas for each other, where we see gaps in our plan, and how we can improve with more efficiency. On the personal side, we were all in a new area, exploring a beautiful city, and traveling! It was the perfect mix of work and play – something we truly believe in.
